I'm working on a redesign of the website for the ministry fair tomorrow. You can see it now here.

I'm upgrading my home internet. The good news is that it's much faster. The bad news is that I can't host this website at home anymore.

Therefore the website is now hosted elsewhere, but that elsewhere should be faster too. This is requiring a number of fixes, some of which might have been broken before. Let me know if you notice any problems.

I've added a wiki to the site, wiki.oregoncitychurchofchrist.org, that should aid our song leaders in preparing Sunday morning slideshows. It's a growing collection of songs in English and Spanish. And any of our song leaders or other invested members can add songs, edit out any mistakes, reformat them to make them easier to put into slideshows, or add details that might be useful.

I neglected to post a few months ago when I finished my revisions to the website and switched it over to PHP. I've not done much beyond maintaining it since.

I've tried to create an automatic system for reporting website problems, but unfortunately it's not working right. If you find problems with the website, please let me know.

I've not updated the website much since the last post in February. I finally restored the website in February with a new motherboard and processor, but behind the scenes I've been working (off and on) to convert the site over to PHP, because I've found the existing ASP difficult to maintain. I've almost finished this process, and you can see a preview of this by clicking here. What you'll likely notice, though, is that nothing has changed cosmetically. That's because I wanted the site essentially working as-is before I made any cosmetic changes.

Chad will be helping me with this process once I've come up-to-speed a little more on PHP. He will know what to do to make the website look much better, and we'll probably add a lot more functionality as well. I'll also be working to get some of the pages converted to Spanish, a long-overdue addition to the site in keeping with our recent outreach effort to the Spanish-speaking community.
